Is the pool heated?
Yes, in spring and autumn, a bubble cover retains the sun's heat overnight.
Is the pool always accessible?
Yes, except:
– during a thunderstorm
– if maintenance is in progress
– if other visitors complain about noise, particularly in the evening, at night, or early in the morning
What period is the pool open?
Generally from the 3rd week of April until the end of October, depending on the weather, the amount of leaves falling into the water, and the number of visitors who wish to swim.
How many people have access to the pool?
Access to the pool is for all gîte renters. A maximum of 12 people.
What is the size of the pool?
– Max 6.5 m wide.
– Max 11.5 m long.
– The basin is figure-eight shaped.
One half is 1.30 m deep, the other is 1.50 m.
Is the pool safe for children?
Around the pool and its deck, a fence closes access. The alarm complies with standards. Children under 12 years old are not permitted without their parent(s).
Access is via an underwater concrete staircase. Next to the staircase, there is a bench, also underwater.
Is the pool water quality checked?
The pool is filled with city water. Water quality is checked daily. It is cleaned with chlorine.
Is swimming supervised?
No, it is not. Children under 12 years old are not permitted in the pool without their parent(s).
Can children play?
Yes, just outside the pool enclosure, we have swings. Children can play on the grounds. For toddlers, we can set up a paddling pool upon request. Some toys are available for use in the pool.
Is there enough privacy on the deck and terrace?
The terrace around the pool is a wooden deck, partially covered with artificial grass. It is recommended to wear flip-flops.
It is almost impossible to see the pool from the small road running alongside La Françonne. The planting around the pool provides privacy from view.
The view of the vineyards, Mont Ventoux, and the surrounding hills, however, is unobstructed.
Are there toilets and a shower near the pool?
Yes, toilets are available in the technical room. Just outside the technical room, there is a shower.
Are there armchairs and sun loungers?
Yes, there are always enough.
Is there shade near the pool?
Yes, the plane trees and the old oak provide shade.
